At Ida Infront, we are creating the future's digital society with iipax – the tool for digitally smart authorities.
We are a well-established company that provides IT solutions with the aim to simplify and streamline everyday tasks for various authorities and administrations in the Nordic. Based on our inhouse-developed product iipax, we offer functions for safe information exchange, efficient case management and sustainable e-archiving. Today, we are around 130 people working at our offices in Linköping, Stockholm and Mumbai, India.
We’ve had a long history of welcoming students to our team, as they take on both master's thesis and summer projects. This collaboration is partly about telling you who we are, but it’s also an opportunity to offer you a chance to practice your skills in real scenarios. In fact, all tasks and projects we offer students are real problems and/or issues that we want to investigate and/or solve. We were founded in the 80's, as a spin-off from Linköping University, and many of our employees has begun their careers by doing their master thesis at Ida Infront. And we are very proud that many of them are still a part of our team today!
Background & Need
Content services platforms (CSPs) are integrated platforms that provide content-focused services, repositories, APIs, solutions and business processing tools to support digital business and transformation. Typical CSP use cases include document management, back-office processes, business process applications, records management and team productivity. CSPs can be used as platform for building large business critical content focused systems. iipax is such a platform that we build our product and solutions on at Ida Infront. There are also open source CSPs on the market. We would like to learn more on how they perform from a developer productivity perspective.
In order to learn we want to build a working solution for a fictive Swedish authority on an open source Content services platform. The summer project team will work as a full agile team and design and build a working solution from the customer requirements. This includes understanding the requirements and design the best solution on the given platform. A big part of the project will also be to assess developer productivity and ease of use of the platform.
- Java programming
- Agile software development
We are looking for three students with a problem-solving mindset and an overall positive attitude. You are a Swedish citizen (this is a requirement from our customers) and communicate freely in both Swedish and English.
This summer project will start in June and run for 8 weeks. The definitely start and end date will be set together within the group. The group will be working from our office in central Linköping.
We look forward hearing from you, and if you have any further questions, you are welcome to contact us trough:
