Event and Communications Intern at Race For The Baltic


Race For The Baltic is a non-profit organisation with a mission to improve the state of the Baltic Sea. We focus on solution-oriented and cost-effective projects with measurable impact.

Internship Description

As an Event and Communications Intern you will be able to work with our outreach activities and events. This includes content production and layout, event management as well as brainstorming ideas, and various tasks within our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • EVENT SUPPORT: Help plan & support our high-level events with businesses, government, NGOs, and other key stakeholders, e.g. Baltic Sea Day, Baltic Sea City Accelerator Events and other events both IRL and digitally

  • COMMUNICATIONS: Take a supporting role in the day-to-day management of our communications, and outreach

  • ADMIN: Provide general office and admin support for the organisation

Requirements and qualifications

  • Language:

    • Fluency in English is required, proficiency in Swedish is required

    • Fluency in either Estonian, Finnish, Latvian, Lithuanian or Polish is a plus

  • Skills:

    • Experience in planning events IRL and digitally

    • Knowledge of Canva, InDesign or other design software

    • Interest in working on different SoMe platforms

  • Hours & Location : Approx. 20 hours per week (flexible) for at least 12 weeks or more

    • Flexible working: mix of in office (in Central Stockholm) and working from home (may change depending on Covid-19)
