Account Representative for Risk Management

As an account representative you are responsible for the growth, profitability and client satisfaction of a book of business containing complex priority accounts. You will “deliver the firm" by aligning client strategies and needs to MMC's capabilities and resources. This includes managing and developing client relationships, acting as the client's trusted advisor, pursuing new business development, and expanding and diversifying the mix of MMC products and services the client holds. As a recognized administrative support specialist, you will gain experience and knowledge needed to tackle difficult issues and coach less experienced colleagues.

We will count on you to:

  • From the support and administrative level, you will be responsible for the delivery of daily operations.
  • Coordinate the tactical logistics and task assignments of client relationship projects.
  • Addresses problems and issues that may be of a sensitive, difficult, non-routine or moderately complex nature.
  • Advise professionals and managers of resulting corrective actions
  • Respond to requests or inquiries from clients concerning sales and project items and issues.
  • Resolve moderately sophisticated issues or refers them to the professional/managerial staff
  • Under the supervision of the professional and managerial staff, trains, delegates and reviews the work of lower-level support employees.
  • Participate on internal teams to research and identify areas for enhancement or change.
  • Make minor adjustments and enhancements to working methods to improve effectiveness of area. Communicates results to affected parties
  • Influence others outside the department regarding practices and procedures.
  • Assist with on-boarding new hires or transfers-in.
  • As a recognized specialist, act as the advice and monitoring conduit for a broad variety of Client Relationship issues.
  • Work on special projects as directed by management to enhance the client relationship process
  • Prepares client relationship management and activity reports

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor's' degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years’ experience, insurance industry preferred
  • 220 License
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
