Description Overview


  • The Financial Controller is responsible for driving our business towards profitable growth, pushing the financial agenda within the area of General and Administrative costs (OPEX).
  • The role is located at the Perrigo Nordic HQ in Kista
  • The role reports to the Head of Financial Controlling and is a part of the Nordic Controlling team with approx. 7 people

We are looking for someone who see themselves as an analytical person with great attention to detail. Since you will take part in a wider team, sociable and humble teamplayer are also key attributes we are looking for. Other sets of skills and personal traits we are looking for are as follows. Proactive and results-oriented: takes ownership, can work independently, has a can-do attitude. Good inter-personal skills - can navigate and build relationships internally within the organization as well as externally with auditors and Corporate. Flexibility and ability to create structure and processes where and when it is lacking.

Scope of the Role


  • Work in close collaboration with department heads, ensuring full understanding of drivers of OPEX
  • Take ownership for questions related to General and Administrative costs
  • Prepare projections of future periods by collecting inputs from departmental heads, performing financial analysis and making reasonable assumptions
  • Align projections with relevant stakeholders and report budget/forecasts
  • Drive the group reporting together with the rest of the Nordic controlling team
  • Develop monthly and quarterly reports to the European Perrigo finance function
  • Secure transparency between local and group accounting
  • Act as speaking partner to the European Perrigo finance function and auditors
  • Be the central support for local controllers in common reporting processes, gathering information, preparing templates and securing alignment of numbers
  • Play a key role in ensuring the Nordic reporting is SOX compliant

Experience Required


We are searching for a candidate with the following education and experience.
  • University degree within Finance, Accounting, or similar
  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably from financial control, accounting or auditing
  • Knowledge of SAP is considered an advantage
  • Strong user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Solid understanding of accounting and financial statements and value drivers
  • Fluent in English, oral and written (English is the official corporate language)
  • Experience of forecasting is considered an advantage
