Associate Manager QC -Technical Resources at Regeneron


In this role, you will be a key member of the QC Technical Resources group. You will perform assay development, characterization, optimization, transfer, validation and investigation for QC. In addition, you will provide technical support, guidance and supervision for release, stability, and in-process testing and assay development.
As the Associate Manager QC in Technical Resources a typical day might include, but is not limited to, the following:
  • Perform assay development/validation for QC.
  • Review/Approve new test procedures and assays.
  • Evaluate and bring in new methodologies/techniques and equipment when needed.
  • Review/Approve compliance records, CAPAs, change controls and deviation notifications as needed
  • Facilitate assay transfer from R&D and to business partners.
  • Participate in technical troubleshooting and problem investigation.
  • Review/ Approve analytical development report, assay and process validation report and other technical documents for technical correctness and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform personnel management functions including time sheet approvals, scheduling of vacations, employee development, and employee evaluations.

To be considered for this opportunity you should have a BS/BA in Life Sciences or related field with 6+ years of experience working in a GMP lab including 2+ years of management experience. Alternatively, a MSc with 4+ years GMP experience including 2+ years management experience would be considered.
